The present study deals with some phonetic phenomena and their effects in identifying the characters of the abnormal linguistic roots. The study conducted on the book named Maqayyis Al-Lugha written by Ibn Fares It may sometimes be difficult to know the linguistic origins of the root characters of the roots - after the deletion of the suffixes - because some words (correct and muted) of linguistic phenomena, which overlap with each other, such as deletion , overlapping..etc.
