The study aims at analyzing the bibliographic citations of information sources used by theses and dissertations in information and library science. The researchers used the statistical method and content analysis method to study and analyze the theses and dissertations awarded by the Iraqi universities in information and library science for the researched period 1988-2012. The study revealed that the total number rewarded by Iraqi university was (193), (135) for theses and (58) dissertations.
