The present study aims at showing the services that are extended by the internet for the libraries and other informatic institutions. It also shows the pioneer role of the Internet in introducing significant information for the specialists in different fields of discipline. The study comes up with the conclusion that the utiliztion of the internet services will save a lot of time and effords if it is exploited usefuully. Similarly it will save a lot of the expenditure on the shoulders of the scholars. Finally The study calls for establishing a specialized web site for Iraqi libraries and the informatics institutions.
