Abstract

The present paper aims at shedding some light on Ibn Nadeems cultural relationship with Mosul city. The study is carried out relying on scrutinizing the bibliographies of those scholars who were coming to Mosul and those who were dwelling there not to mention what is in Al-Fahras. The study falls into two axes : the first deals with the personality of Ibn Nadeem, his cultural life, reviewing Al-Fahras book and his journeys between Mosul and Badgdad. The second axes investigates the mentioned book reviewing the scholars' opnions who were coming to Mosul and those who were dwelling there.
