In its first part, the research in the methodology of the book entitled: "Matlaa AlAnwar and Nuzhat AlBasa'ir Wal Absar" by Ibn Khamees AlMaliqi (died after 639 A. H.) considering this book as an Andalusian literary and historical reference and a book that occupies a remarkable value in the Andalusian library. The book includes biographies of one hundred seventy three distinguished figures from Malaga and Andalusia. The book is regarded as one of the masterpieces in terms of the selection of poems and prose. The research investigated the reason behind writing the book, time and place of writing it, in addition to scrutinizing, with an eye of critic, the introduction, chapters and the conclusion of the book.
