Textualization as Used by Contrast Poets: Jareer and Farazaq as a Model
Abstract
Contrast is a poetic art which has been known by Arabic poetics, in its complete form, in the Ummayid period. It is dealt with by many researchers from different perspectives most of which is related to the historical, political or topical aspects. However, these contrast devices involve a formal aesthetic aspects lie in the heart of textualization which is a clear poetic act depends on the poem geometry and follows a specific poetic methodology which can be term extualization The research investigates opposition in Jareer and AL-farazdaq poems represented by completely constructed poems in which AL-Farazdaq poem is read in contrast to Jareers at different levels of development beginning with initiation and ending with conclusion then with contrasted verses which embody a contextualization in different poetic types like conflict ,dialogue and space used to prove this phenomena in the poetry of the two poets.
