Intentionalism and its impact on grammatical functions between Sibawayh and Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani
Abstract
This study dealt with the study of the effect of intention on grammatical guidance among Arabic scholars. To dust off an important feature of grammatical thinking, and to reveal the extent to which grammarians depend on the speaker's intent and intent in analyzing linguistic texts and their foundations. To show that the intention of the speaker has a role in grammatical interpretation that cannot be overlooked or overlooked. Therefore, the grammarians relied on it in their interpretations and conclusions, and in formulating the grammatical rule, which indicates the extent of their interest in what is behind the linguistic elements that lie behind the text, and this shows that they did not deal with the linguistic texts as being isolated from their speakers, but rather tried to interpret those texts. And interpreted based on the speaker's intent and intent.This research aims at finding out the notion of intention at Sibawayh; as it is the most important source that Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani takes his tools to construct his systems theory, through concentrate on the appearances of the intentionality at they both, depending on the studies that took care of this subject; to make an approach in Sibawayh's point of view to the intention. And by this point of view in Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani procedures to construct his theory; that what make this theory as natural extension to Sibawayh's idea in the intention.
