Abstract

The international political scene after september 11 indicates a radical change in the interests of the American Administration towards wold hot issues including Sudan's issues and crises especially the peace issue. However, the Anerican position as to visions, attitudes and methods of achieving this goals is controversial. This reflects the unvividness of the American position towards Sudan's issues and crises and even the future of Sudan.It is an attempt in this paper to figure out the American pragmatism and the factors behind the issuing of the Sudan peace Law in 2005.
