When I was researching to prepare my dissertation to obtain a masters degree on the subject of the Arab conquest of Armenia, a historical text was adopted by Al-Balazari in the book Fath Al-Buldan about the conquest of this region, written by Al-Atat / Af bin Sufyan. Ibn Sufyan Abu al-Asba judged it, and I did not have the time to search for the origin of this judge, the reason for his coming to this city, how he took over the judiciary in it, and when and what were the characteristics that qualified him to be a judge. Alataf bin Sufian was one of the narrators on whom al-Baladhuri relied when compiling the news of Fattouh Arminah, and he proved his narration through the written information that he presented to him.
