The halls of the Iraqi parliament witnessed the National Assembly at the end of the 1930s and the beginning of the 1940s, to discuss important and prominent matters in the contemporary history of Iraq, perhaps the most prominent and most dangerous of which is the issue of the British position on Iraq declaring war on Germany and Italy after the Second World War in 1939.
