Ibn Abd-Rabba is the poet of Andalusia , the handsome of Andalusia, and the most famous poet of his nation. Al-Mutanabbi praised and admire his poetry( Iraq has come to you crawling ) . Any poet similar to this poet must receive great attention . His poetry is worthy to be studied and examined, especially in what is called by the term (Al-Mumahessat) which is a collection of poems stated by him during his old age in the subject of asceticism in repentance of his God on the opposite of the poems composed by him during his youth in the subject of ghazal (love poetry) neglecting and referring to them as the corrected poems of them by mentioning a line of which with same meter and rhyme . This is considered a stylistic innovation unprecedented according to our knowledge. So, the research includes a theoretical framework of the title concepts like ( innovation, style, and the mumahessat poems) in addition to an applicative framework for the style of Al- mumahessat and the Al-mumahessa of Ibn Abd Rabba's poetry.
