Abstract

Colour represent a mystery of the world and a riddle on which this phenomenon, with its day and night, earth and sky, is based. The importance of colour in the poetry of the Umaid poet is manifested according to a strategy which has derived its elements and pillars from the nature of the elevated poetic text, from what can be noticed by probing deep in the poets poems. The following study is regarded as the heart of the poetic theme whose effects start right from their effective presence in the colour text.
