Abstract

Abstract
In the context of stability and security prevailing in the Arab Islamic state after the Islamic Arab conquests, whether in the Maghreb or Andalusia, it was necessary for scholars and intellectuals from all regions to engage actively in their intellectual and scientific pursuits, traveling from one country to another with a sense of safety and reassurance.
The scientific journey of scholars from Andalusia and the Maghreb to Mosul during the 2nd to 7th centuries AH 8-13A.D (Islamic calendar) was one of the significant journeys that deepened intellectual and cultural interaction and the quest for knowledge. Scholars from Andalusia and the Maghreb were among the most avid seekers of knowledge who journeyed to Mosul, benefiting both sides.
