The Fifth Crusade Campaign(1218-1221 A.D.)
Abstract
Crusade campaigns attract the attention of the scholars here and there, in spite of having the available literature and modern studies on the political, social, economic, and martial aspects of the states like Britain, Germany, and France which participated in these campaigns. The present study is an attempt to study the Fifth Crusade Campaign (1218-1221) during which Damietta was occupied relying on the views of the Muslim historians of the period.
