Abstract
Violence is one of the characteristics of drama through its various stages. It denotes the use of "physical force to interfere with the existence, or right to exist, or persons or things. " ) It is increasingly a subject of concern particularly of contemporary drama as well as of society as it is part of human nature exercised over human lives. Some critics consider it rigor, implacable intention and decision, irreversible and absolute determination. (2) Furthermore, some commentators recognize it as good and noble because it can renew and rejuvenate society.
