Abstract

In Iraq, learning English as a foreign language starts at the age of eleven when the learner is in the fifth year at the primary level.It goes on up to the sixth year of secondery level when he is supposed to have completed his school education, and has become, after passing the ministerial cxamination, qualified to join an institute or a university.
