Abstract

Nature did not have a distinct presence in literature until the eighteenth century, when it began to lead literary works, and thus the concept of nature developed throughout the history of literature. Although there are differences between the two poets, there are similarities that actually exist between them, and although Baudelaire is a poet who belongs to the symbolic school, he is not without a romantic influence, as is the case for the British poet Wordsworth - that even if he belongs to the romantic school - he is not without influence symbolic. Accordingly, the research deals with romantic elements in Baudelaire poetry as well as symbolic elements in Wordsworth poetry. Among the other ideas that the research deals with is the relationship between man and nature on the one hand, and nature and artistic work on the other hand, studying the relationship of nature with civilization, and finally dealing with nature as a critical concept that has become a textual space or - in fact - a textual horizon of writing.
