Abstract

All documented evidence indicates that the Central Library of the University of Mosul since the early 1980s and even prior to the recent events of destruction due to the occupation of Iraq by the American forces, was in a privileged position among the libraries of Iraqi universities, as it is, for example, the first library to introduce CD technology.
